The oil tanned leather upper is coated with polyurethane and made with abrasion-resistant 1200D ballistic nylon; in addition, it is waterproof thanks to the Storm Defender breathable membranes. The toe box is roomy enough to move your toes. The flexible, compression-molded EVA midsole provides comfort and has cushioned polyurethane insoles. Carhartt rubber outsoles have ladder lock grips with a reinforced shank and a 90-degree heel, that's perfect for climbing. This boot also provides secondary protection against electrical hazards up to 18,000 volts under dry conditions and meets ASTM 2413-11 EH standards for safety toe footwear and ASTM F2892-11 EH standards for non-safety toe styles.
